Sewing: Custom Reusable Paper/Hand Towels – SOLD OUT

Learn a new skill and leave with useful, waste reducing, goodies! Join a textile artist and long-time sewing instructor for this class designed for brand new beginners and re-entry sewers. We will cover tools and sewing concepts and machine threading. Students will design and sew a class project using The Scrap Exchange’s awesome wealth of fabrics and trims. All tools and materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own sewing machine, fabric scissors, and/or fabrics

Jeannie is a long time sewing instructor who recently moved to Durham NC. Jeannie loves sharing her knowledge of sewing, sergers and crafts.
Early Bird Registration Bonus!
Register for any class at least 3 weeks in advance and receive a $5 store voucher good towards the purchase of any materials in The Scrap Exchange retail store! Voucher will be handed out at the beginning of the class, and will be valid for two weeks. The voucher may not be applied to Cameron Gallery items or programs. This voucher will only be given to students who register at least 3 weeks prior to the start date/time of the class.
Refunds for class fees will be issued if the class is cancelled by The Scrap Exchange for any reason. If you register for a class and cannot attend, a refund will only be issued if you notify the Scrap Exchange at least 1 week before the class begins.
