Sewing: Japanese Utility Aprons (ages 12+)

Would you like to learn how to create your own useful apron for a variety of household chores? Join us for this home sewing class and design and sew a utility apron made from your own measurements! Choose from a selection of fun fabrics provided by the Scrap Exchange, or bring 2 yards of woven fabric that is apron appropriate (no jersey knit or stretchy fabric). This is a perfect project to repurpose a twin size sheet! (This is a Medium/Advanced Class- Must be able to use a sewing machine)
All tools and materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own sewing machine, fabric scissors, and/or fabrics.
Registration is suggested. Space is limited.

Jeannie is a long time sewing instructor who recently moved to Durham NC. Jeannie loves sharing her knowledge of sewing, sergers and crafts.
Early Bird Registration Bonus!
Register for any class at least 3 weeks in advance and receive a $5 store voucher good towards the purchase of any materials in The Scrap Exchange retail store! Voucher will be handed out at the beginning of the class, and will be valid for two weeks. The voucher may not be applied to Cameron Gallery items or programs. This voucher will only be given to students who register at least 3 weeks prior to the start date/time of the class.
Refunds for class fees will be issued if the class is cancelled by The Scrap Exchange for any reason. If you register for a class and cannot attend, a refund will only be issued if you notify the Scrap Exchange at least 1 week before the class begins.
