Join the Scrap Exchange team by becoming a volunteer!
The Scrap Exchange is a labor-intensive enterprise. With a small core staff, we rely on volunteers to help us process and organize materials, clean and maintain the store, and generally keep things running. We’re happy to work with volunteers of all ages and abilities, and are able to accommodate large groups from schools, universities, or community organizations.
Gardening Club on Saturday 12, 8:00am – 12:00pm.
The garden club has been dozing this summer and we would like to liven it up! Come to find out how you can get involved with this fun community project! Meet with other gardeners who want to work together to make the landscaping outside of our building flourish! We also want to start plans for a community garden!
Roll-A-Thon on September 13, 2:30 – 4:30pm.
Calling all quilters, sewers and fabric experts! Join us for our first ever, Roll-A-Thon event. We plan to sort and organize fabric donations. Multiple tables will be set up in our design center for volunteers to measure and roll yardage. Come share your fabric expertise and enjoy the company of other fabric enthusiasts!
Information sessions for people interested in volunteering are held every third Sunday.
Our next volunteer orientation will be Sunday September 20 from 1:30-2:00pm.
