Open Studio

Our Open Studio program takes place in two community studio spaces: the Make and Take Room and the Design Center.

Make and Take Room

Enjoy 1.5 hours of self-directed creativity in our Make and Take Room for $5 per participant. Participants make anything they want using the materials in the space, and take home what they make.

We host a variety of groups year-round, with the ability to accommodate up to 60 participants. See our Field Trips page for more details. Please contact Lindsey Miller, Outreach and Events Manager, at 919-213-1278 or email her at events[at] to book your group.

Individuals and Families
Individual and families can use the room anytime during store hours when group programming is not taking place. Please call the store at 919-688-6960 to confirm availability for drop-ins before arriving.

In the Make and Take Room, you’ll find a unique array of our materials, along with scissors, tape, and staplers to create with. Perfect for all ages!
