BRING the Scrap Exchange experience to YOUR school or classroom

We supply materials and trained staff to integrate your classroom or program goals into a fun, educational, hands-on creative arts experience. Our staff member will introduce our mission and our unique materials to participants, and then assist as students create their own unique projects. We can serve up to 30 participants at once, with the ability to accommodate larger groups. This program is best suited for ages 5 and up.

About the program: Our Make-N-Take program is an eco-friendly creative arts activity that brings an endless array of fascinating and unusual reclaimed materials to your event — including cones and tubes from textile mills, fabric samples from decorators, vinyl sticker paper from sign shops, and so much more. Folks of all ages will have a blast building whatever they can imagine out of the materials we provide! We include tools (scissors, tape, and staplers) for creating along with staff to manage set up, clean up, and all of the creativity in between. Everyone leaves your event with a fantastic project of their own invention!


Pricing:

Rate for up to 30 participants per hour:
$195 for 1.5 hours ($130 per additional hour). * For events more than 20 miles from The Scrap Exchange, there is $0.65 per mile roundtrip fee. Rates increase for locations more than 75 miles from The Scrap Exchange.


Rate for 30 to 75 participants per hour:
$350 for 1.5 hours ($175 per additional hour). * For events more than 20 miles from The Scrap Exchange, there is $0.65 per mile roundtrip fee. Rates increase for locations more than 75 miles from The Scrap Exchange.


HOW TO BOOK YOUR EVENT:

STEP ONE: Please complete our online form. Please allow at least three-weeks notice for your event and be aware that completing the form is NOT confirmation of your request. We make every effort to respond to your inquiry within 72 business hours. 

STEP TWO: Once you receive notice of your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required to hold the reservation. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.

10% deposit due at time of booking an Events by the Truckload program
