Children’s Workshops
We supply materials and trained staff to integrate your classroom or program goals into a fun, educational, hands-on creative arts experience. Our workshop leaders help children transform clean, reusable industrial discards into inventions for science, hats and costumes for plays, games and toys for fun, and much more.

At The Scrap Exchange
$100 per hour for up to 15 children, $5 for each additional child.

At your location
$260 for 2 hours (minimum length), $130 for each additional hour, for up to 30 children.

 

Professional Development Workshops
We provide teachers and childcare providers with fresh ideas and age-appropriate projects for enriching children's learning and play experiences. We’ll show you how to get the most out of your resources, no matter how limited.

At The Scrap Exchange
$150 for an hour-and-a-half workshop for up to 20 teachers, $10 for each additional teacher.

At your location
$350 for 2 hours (minimum length), $175 per hour for each additional hour, for up to 20 educators. For events outside of Durham, there is a travel charge of $.49 per mile. Rates vary for events held more than 75 miles from Durham. Please contact us for a price quote.
