What you will learn
Operations overview including: collecting and managing materials, programming (creative arts services, retail sales, online sales, gallery shows, and more), options for business models, PR and marketing strategies, financial management and data tracking, working with volunteers and staff, working with a Board of Directors, facility issues, and best practices. Additional information includes an opportunity to attend a Scrap Exchange Board of Directors meeting, committee meetings, Third Friday Gallery opening, Open Studio, and opportunities for connecting with others in the reuse sector.
Cost & Registration
Includes 30 hours of workshops and programming plus some meals during boot camp hours. Accommodations are not included, but we can provide you with a list of affordable accommodations with information about the venue, rates, and distance and transportation options.
