The Scrap Exchange is North Carolina’s preeminent nonprofit organization for reuse,creativity, and conservation. The Scrap Exchange is producing the Lakewood Flea Market to give Durham and surrounding area residents an opportunity to sell handmade art and antiques, vintage, thrift, and yard-sale merchandise in a unique outdoor setting. The Lakewood Flea Market will help support access to affordable community resources and local markets and economies.
The Lakewood Flea Market is looking for vendors/sellers of handmade art and antiques, vintage, thrift, yardsale and crafts for a Saturday flea market from June 6th through October 24, 2015 in the parking lot of the Scrap Exchange at 2050 Chapel Hill Rd., Durham, NC. (The market will be closed on July 4th and on September 26th for the Scrap Exchange Art and Alchemy (Art and Beer Festival).
The fee for a space is 15 dollars cash. Spaces are distributed on a first come, first served basis and are approximately 10’ x 10’. There is no preregistration. For your convenience, set-up is permitted beginning at 7:00 a.m. on market day. Market hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (Vendors must be in place by 8:00 a.m.). The Lakewood Flea Market is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged goods.
