Outreach Events: We Come to You

Ask Scrap Exchange to come to you! We provide an on-the-go Make N’ Take experience that can come to your school, festival, or any other event you may throw within a fifty mile radius of our location. We will bring one of our scrappy vans complete with six of our blue barrels (large reusable crafting materials such as slide holders, cardboard, and egg cartons), twelve boxes of smaller crafting items (buttons, twist ties, stickers), along with plenty of scissors, tape, and staplers. Our team of expert scrappers will guide crafters in making their creations throughout the duration of the event inspiring ideas, helping with cutting and taping, and keeping the creative process flowing. Our Make N’ Take crafting is usually self-led and unprompted (that’s Scrap Magic!), but we are more than happy to provide materials to fit a theme if you have one in mind. All we need from you is a few tables, two chairs, and a tent if the event is outside. We are always excited to teach about creative reuse and share our materials with the community!
Please read the following prior to filling out the form:

The Scrap Exchange Programs & Outreach Safety Disclaimer:
The mission of The Scrap Exchange programming is always to encourage a fun, creative, unique, and safe environment for attendants to craft and play. While all of our provided materials are curated to the ages of the crafters who enjoy our space, the risk of injury in such a scrappy wonderland is possible. The party or event host (person who booked the reservation) assumes all responsibility and liability for their guests' safety. We are not responsible for any accident or injury that may occur. All children must be accompanied by a parent or supervising adult, and follow TSE rules at all times. We thank you for considering safety in art exploration!
