Workshop: Learn to Knit

Students will learn the basics of knitting and how to turn those basics into a knitted square (dishcloth, washcloth, coaster, etc.). Students will learn basic stitches (knit and purl), how to start and finish a piece (casting on and casting off), and how to read a knitting pattern. Knitting needles and yarn will be provided, and students can take these home at the end of the class. No experience required, this class is aimed at folks who have never knit before.
